International Baccalaureate @ Granada High School

IB Physics SL is a one-year course covering the concepts and relationships involving mechanics (motion, force, energy, momentum), thermal physics, waves, electricity & magnetism, circular motion & gravitation, atomic & nuclear physics, energy production, and astrophysics.  These main principles of physics will be covered in depth and will emphasize problem-solving as well as laboratory skills.  IB assessment Labs will be evaluated according to the IB assessment standards and students will be required to complete the Group 4 Project as outlined in the syllabus.
