International Baccalaureate @ Granada High School

Students start out this unit by investigating how it might be possible to actually figure out how many particles are in Avogadro’s number, the Mole. Students create their own procedure and investigate and explore the methods that were once used by earlier scientists. There is also a sense of intuition within this lab and topic that students must use in order to come up with an acceptable and repeatable way to measure small particles.
